SERTOMAN OF THE YEAR

Every year Sertoma of Nashville selects a member as it’s Sertoman of the Year to recognize his or her outstanding service to the club. The member is announced at the annual awards dinner and gets their name on the past winner’s trophy and displays the trophy in their home or office for the next full year.

The 2026 winner is JOHNNY PHIPPS, a Sertoman with several decades of service to Sertoma and a past president of the Nashville Chapter. Please join us in congratulating Johnny and his family!

SERVICE TO MANKIND AWARD

Each year, Sertoma Club of Nashville selects a non-Sertoman that has made a significant impact in the Middle Tennessee community.

The winner of the 2026 Service to Mankind Award is The Judge Dinkins Educational Center. JDEC’s mission is to empower Nashville’s at-risk youth with education, mentorship, vocational training and life skills with the end-goal of preparing the young person to enter an apprenticeship in the electrical, plumbing or welding field. Please join Nashville Sertoma in congratulating JDEC for their service in our community!
